BIOGRAPHY

 

She has specialized in Italian Romanza  of  late IXXth - first XXth century,  including songs by various composers such as Bellini, Donizetti, Puccini, Rossini, Verdi, and particularly in composer  F.P. Tosti (1846-1916), of which she is preparing a monographic CD.

 

In lied genre (song), she has also successfully sung as well, music by Brahms, Fauré, Granados Mahler, Obradors, Rachmaninov, Satie, Schubert, R. Schumann, Tchajcovskij, Weill, Wolf, such as "Cinq mélodies populaires greques" by M. Ravel, "Sieben frühe lieder" by A. Berg, "Songs without sun" by M. P. Mussorgsky, "Chansons créoles" by X. De Montsalvatge. Finally, within her repeirtoire, there are ”The diary of a disappeared” by L. Janácek, “Siete canciones populares españolas" by M. De Falla, "Goethe lieder" by L. Dallapiccola, "Terzina" by N. Castiglioni, "Folk Songs" by L. Berio.  

 

Her general repertoire also includes Opera, Oratorio and Sacred Music by G. Fauré, Liszt, W.A. Mozart, G.B. Pergolesi, G. Rossini, A. Vivaldi , G. Donizetti, P. Mascagni, W.A. Mozart, G. Verdi.

 

Active in the international field has been guest singer in various theaters and festivals in Europe and Mexico. She have singed under the conduction of internationally renowned conductors such as Mr. Callegari Mr. Neuhold, Mr. Frizza. Among the most important commitments, recently was guest soloist in leading roles of the followings productions: Opera "El Conejo y el Coyote" by Victor Rasgado (“Festival Humanitas” of Oaxaca, Mexico, Theatre “Macedonio Alcalá”), Scenic Cantata "Comala" (“Festival SpazioMusica” of Cagliari, Italy), and "Comala Suite No. 2" (“Festival Internacional de Chihuahua”, Mexico) by Ricardo Zohn-Muldoon, and Hemoction Opera “DeCachetitoRaspado" by Juan Trigos (“Festival SpazioMusica” of Cagliari, Italy).

 

As a singing teacher gives individual lessons and master classes in Italy and Mexico.

 

She studied as opera singer in Italy with Mauro Trombetta and specialized with Paolo Barbacini, Claudio Desderi, Tom Krause and Mietta Sighele in opera repertoire, Elio Battaglia and Lucio Gallo in German Lieder, and Dorothy Dorow in interpretation of first ‘900 repertoire.
